YOUR DREAM OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Head of Logistics, this role will be responsible for providing assurance to the business around inventory integrity. You will deliver structure and support around the effective management of inventory by way of stocktakes, RFID cycle counts, DC inventory alignments and general guidance to the business on best practise.

Our superstar Inventory Coordinator will coordinate with finance, planning, retail risk, retail and other key departments to ensure correct and appropriate inventory transactions are executed to minimise the impact on financial reporting and operational visibility.

To be successful, a continuous improvement mindset is important to ensure processes are efficient, and inventory integrity is optimum to enable the business the best possible financial and commercial outcomes.

Get excited to: 

  • Conduct stock adjustments for DCs globally to ensure optimum inventory integrity
  • Specifically monitor short picks from Ecommerce trade and take immediate action to mitigate customer impact
  • Execute stock alignments for all DCs and Marketplace/3PE partners.
  • Coordinate Intercompany transfers between markets to ensure process compliance and financial accuracy
  • Transact all major back-end ERP stock adjustments, including transfers, recalls and redirects
  • Partner with Finance on key milestones dates to identify and action necessary stock transactions including store closures
  • Support and report on DC stocktakes and/or cycle count programs
  • Partner with the Retail Risk Team to provide first level support for RFID stock counts
  • Weekly review and ongoing management of merchandise refunded to department store partners where we do not trade
  • Manage the procurement process of warehouse consumables to optimize cost efficiency of purchases and DC costs
  • Ongoing review and maintenance of source systems to ensure all attributes are captured
  • Identify process gaps and build business knowledge to address inefficiency and risk
  • Development of training materials and documentation on inventory management methodology and practices
  • Developing key performance indicators and reports to measure the effectiveness of item integrity and inventory management system integrations
  • Provide reporting and analyse cycle count data reporting for all DCs
  • Partner with the Group Risk Manager and Planning Managers to identify aged, fragmented & obsolete stock in DCs
  • Monitor stock in transit, lost in transit and under/over receiving of transfers, providing feedback to stakeholder where required
  • Analyse the inventory scorecards for stores and DC and take the necessary action to remediate issues
  • Support the Financial Accounting Team in producing SOH reporting
  • Analyse RFID and stocktake data across retail locations data to identify issues and opportunities 
  • Coordinate logistics processes with the Third-Party Team and 3PLs to ensure shipment windows are met for EDI partnerships
  • Participate in monthly reconciliation of wholesale accounts with Finance & the Third-Party Team

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU OFFER US

  • Commerce based qualification is preferred or suitable prior experience
  • Microsoft Office (Specifically intermediate Excel)
  • Netsuite and or RMS experience will be beneficial
